New Work

School let out the other day so that means I have 6 weeks to paint as much as I can for my upcoming show so I'm trying to sleep even less and I'm thinking about taking a smaller painting w/ me to work on when we drive down to the coast for Thanksgiving so I can keep busy..

This poor guy has been revised so many times, I'm just ready to paint him and put him out of his misery. I think I finally have the drawing where it needs to be so it's time to get to work..

This is me and my studio assistant being bored/stupid. I made the mistake of working on a piece on the floor and he thought it was time for a break so he laid he's 40 lb head on my shoulder to make me stop..what can you do?

I finally got a decent picture of this painting. This was one of those that takes longer than it should b/c you want to see how ridiculous you can get with the small details nobody will ever notice but you but it was fun and nice to do something a little different.
I finished a commission late last night, getting ready to start the 36"x48" beast with the wheat hair and try to get as much else done in the next couple of weeks as possible..I'll keep you updated.
