Video - Fire at Rihanna Concert Cancels Show – Fans Evacuated

It was a big night in Dallas Texas for Rihanna fans last night.

A fire broke out on stage during the singer’s concert at the American Airlines Center and caused a near panic and the cancellation of the show.

It appears that a pyro pack attached to the upper lighting rig either didn’t go off correctly or exploded prematurely causing a section of the rig to catch fire and quickly filling the arena with smoke.

A local CBS affiliate reported sparks and chunks of burning material fell back down onto the stage starting additional fires near a section of curtains and equipment.

It was all caught on video by a fan in the audience, and you can hear by his voice that things got very close to raging out of control.

As the fire grew, stage hands turned on the house lights and stopped the show. The guy taking the video can be heard talking to his friend about what would happen if they had to evacuate.

At one point he grew concerned about being trampled if things got out of control.

Finally a crew member was able to climb up to the rig and used a fire extinguisher on the blaze while the crowd erupted in cheers.

The show however, had to be cancelled due to safety concerns.

The singer took to her twitter account afterwards to say,

"DALLAS!!! We set the stage on FYAH tonight!!! LITERALLY!!! I'm so pissed, I was havin so much fun with yall too!!! I gotta come back man!!"

Rihanna is currently on the road for her U.S. “Loud” tour.

The singer recently announced that she has added an additional tour stop in Birmingham Alabama on July 11th at the Jefferson Civic Center Arena.

All profits from the show will be used to benefit local community relief efforts stemming from the devastating tornadoes that tore through the area last month.

From there her July shows continue on to Atlanta, Sunrise Florida, Greenboro North Carolina, Long Island New York, East Rutherford New Jersey, and Philadelphia.

Starting in August she will take her show overseas to Finland, Norway, Ireland, London, Scotland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, and Switzerland.

Rihanna Tattoos Designs

Rihanna is a huge tattoo lover. She loves tattoos so much that she has a total of eleven and she also enjoys spending her free time just hanging out in tattoo studios. Although the Barbados born beauty has eleven tattoos you probably haven't even noticed half of them, half of them are very small and in unnoticeable places.

Here's a list of her eleven tattoo:

1. A music note on her ankle.
2. The Pisces sign behind her right ear
3. A star in her left ear
4. Sanskrit prayer going down her hip
5. The word 'love' on her left middle finger
6. A patch of star dust on the back of her neck
7. [she turned #6 into] a trail of stars going down her back
8. The phrase 'shhh...' on her right index finger
9. The date 11-4-1986 on top of her left shoulder
10. A skull on the back of her left ankle
11. "Freedom in God" written in Arabic on her left side

Rihanna loves to talk about her tattoos and loves to explain what they mean. She sat down with The View in Las Vegas and talked to them about her latest tattoo.

"They're Roman numerals. Me and my best friend got the same thing. It's her DOB (date of birth) and she has mine."

"I like hanging out in tattoo shops. When I am in New York, after all the photo shoots and performances, when I should be resting, sometimes I get dressed and go to the tattoo parlors in SoHo and hang out. I am so intrigued by tattoos. It's an entire culture, and I study it. Sometimes I go with friends or just by myself. I get bum-rushed, but I don't care. I don't take security."

Rolling Stone goes Playboy with Rihanna

This pic of the latest ROLLING STONE cover (hitting stores Friday) has been circling the internet today, baffling many innocent minds, including mine. I mean, is this Rolling Stone or Playboy or Maxime? We see RIHANNA here wearing what looks to once have been denim shorts - before they were ripped apart by a wild beast! Moreover - the shorts don't even look real but sloppily photo-shopped right over her naked butt, leaving very little to imagination. What's with you Rolling Stone? First that despicable creature Snooky on your cover and now Playmate Rihanna, who "strikes back" with her buttocks? I can tell they were trying to be "provocative" here, but still - an Epic Fail on every account.
